I literally can't contain my excitement about getting this. I saw her in play a couple of months ago and was one of the best gigs I've been to in a long time. I can't wait to unpack the songbox and find all the little exciting things inside

Rating: - Raw Talent...Great Music!
I bought this album after seeing Laura play in a record store in London the other week. Live, she is amazing and I was super impressed, so I was particularly excited about listening to this album.

She has failed to disapoint and I am in love with this fantastic piece of musical work. The way that she faultlessly interleaves her vocal melody with the instrumentation is genious and makes for a great listen.

If you are a fan of folk orientated music or just want to hear raw talent without any production tricks then this is definatley for you. She has only just turned 18, her level of talent is frighteningly high. Thank you Laura!

Rating: - First genuinely great folk record of the year
First thing I wanted to do was to start all over again- there are some really special songs here, great arrangements, instrumentation. The singing is expressive and this is no performing-arts-school-diva hyped beyond her talent- this record marks the emergence of a special songwriter who should be with us for some time to come. A real pleasure.
