Music : Halcyon Days

Rating: - Absolutely wonderful
Pop music as it's meant to be. Halcyon Days bursts open with the incredible album opener Chariots Of Fire. This fine slice of upbeat, uplifting pop was the song that originally attracted me to BWO. The pace and party continues with the catchy rather infectious Temple Of Love. Things slow down abit with ballads Will My Arms Be Strong Enough and the beautiful We Could Be Heroes. However strike your best disco pose as things get funky again with the booty shaking Juggernaut. Hanging On The Phones carries on the retro vibe with it's very Jackson five feel as well as the very happy I Keep Walking On of which you'll feel in bliss listening to. Marrakech is one of the albums high lights. It's very dramatic with a chorus that will glue it's self to your mind. Another stand out track is Haunted. By far the campest song available with lyrics such as "Come, come to my space paradise. Look at my high tech device. Your hypnotised". Four bonus tracks are also on it including the amazing Sunshine In The Rain. 5 star Pop.

Rating: - Poor
Being a fan of Radio 2 in the UK, the Track called "sunshine in the rain" was played widely and this song attracted me to buy the album. The rest of the album however is poor and only belongs in the depths of the Eurovision Song Contest with lyrics such as "i've got power in my rocket, I've got diesel in the tank."

Rating: - Fantastiskt!
This album is fantastic, and is electro-pop at its best! Voodoo Magic, Chariots of Fire, Haunted and Crystal Oddysey are memorable and delicious snippets of musical wonder. This album is well worth a listen. 'Temple of Love' was almost the Swedish entry for Eurovision 2006, but was beaten in the final of Melodifestivalen by 'Invincible'. BWO are huge in Russia and Northern Europe....and WILL be huge over here too!
