Video Games : Sports Island (Wii)

Rating: - A pleasant surprise!
This game is a change from Wii Sports and all in all has enough variety to make it a worthy challenger.

I enjoyed the footy, simple but fun, and all the events work well.

The single player League system is good. Select your team and play in each event decathalon style.

Quality all in all...and my 5 year old boy also enjoys it to boot!

This game is already out in the US as Deca Sports by Konami. Sadly as you will see with most of the reviews, the game does not live up to the expectation.
The control responses when playing the game are slow (especially the football and badminton games) and some of the games go really quickly (like the snowboarding).
You can't even use your own Mii character which is shame.

If you are expecting Wii Sports 2, this game is not the one.

Rating: - the island of wii fun
I found this when i was looking for upcoming games for the wii and i decided to see if it was worth buying. to my surprise it has all of the sports that i love such as ice skating! (i don't know how they will show that on the wii) this seems to me like a sequel to the official wii sports game that comes with the wii. I can't wait until it comes out! get it if you loved the wii sports.
