Video Games : DualShock 3 PS3 controller (PS3)

Rating: - Now that feel better
The Sixaxis controller always felt too light and detached from the game play.
The Dualshock 3 feels sturdier and the rumble brings back an element of feedback.
A worthy replacement for the stock PS3 controllers.

Rumble should have been present in the original Six-axis.

I resent having to re-invest.

EDIT: I have now begrudgingly handed over my 40 squids, and I've been ripped. The rumble is really soft so that it might as not be there, and it doesn't even work with one of my favourite PS3 games; Ninga Gaiden Sigma, or with any of the PS2 games I've thrown at it so far. Rubbish!

Rating: - Brilliant!
I ordered myself on of these just last week and I am glad that I did.

Don't get me wrong, the sixaxis controls are good, and you might think "why would I need dualshock, its fine without"...well then fairenough, but you do realised a vast difference!
When i've been using the dualshock control and then I switch to using my sixaxis one it just seems so dull because you get no feedback from the game

So anyway, I reccomend you order one of these, well worth the money! (especially with it not being much more than a sixaxis one)

Rating: - Eagerly awaited, and worth it!
The DualShock 3 is a vast improvement on the Sixaxis. The buttons feel much better and the controller in general feels of higher quality.

It is great to have a controller with vibrate and although it is subtle, it does enhance the game. Highly Recommended.

Rating: - Something so simple adds so much
The Sixaxis was a good little gimmick on the original controller but the addition of the vibration feature in the DualShock 3 is a much needed one.

You may think, "oh, the only difference is that the controller vibrates" which is true but it makes such a difference - the vibration is improved on the PS2's and feels a little more subtle in my opinion. Every bump and crash in a racing game can be felt, on shooting games it feels like you really are shooting etc.

I thought when using the Sixaxis controller that I wouldn't miss the vibration and most of the time I didn't but buy this product and you won't look back and you will be thinking, "why didn't I buy one earlier?"
Something so simple really does add so much and the only other comparison with the Sixaxis is that the DualShock 3 is slightly heavier and the battery doesn't last as long. However, I believe the added weight is a positive and rids the 'cheap' feel of the Sixaxis. Regarding the battery, it will still last you between 3 - 5 hours.

Overall, a great product and a must-have for all PlayStation 3 owners - get one now!
