Rating: - Protects the PDA screen well
I have used this screen protector on my IPAQ 214 for over a month. I don't understand the other reviews on this item. No claims are made that the film is adhesive - it adheres by surface tension in the same way that protective films are provided on any new equipment with a plastic screen. The difference is that it is made to fit and if properly applied will stick for ages - my protector shows no sign of peeling after a month's hard use.

Very clear instructions are provided to fit the film to the screen. This basically involved peeling off a short portion of the film, lining this up on the edge of the screen and then peeling it off the card it comes on using a credit card to push out any air bubbles. It works perfectly. A vital point is to ensure that the screen is dust free and the the room in which you are working is not dusty. The film fits snugly side to side, but is about two millimetres short vertically. I think this is by design to allow you to get your finger nail underneath to peel it off if you wish. I have left the gap at the top of the screen - you don't notice it in practice and it does not interfere in any way with the operation of the PDA. In practice you do not see the protector when you use it.

I was afraid that the screen would be less sensitive with the protector on. I guess it may be marginally so but it still responds well when I tap the screen with my finger and works even better with the stylus. Overall I have been very pleased with it.

Bearing in mind you get six protective films on each sheet I have only used one on the PDA. I used a sharp knife to trim a second one for my camera which works very well on that. The company offered three sets for the price of two when I ordered and they came very quickly without any fuss. Highly recommended by me.

These did not fully cover the screen which was stated and were not adhesive. Very dissappointing!

1. The instruction page doesn't actually correspond to screen protector.
2. The screen protector has NO adhesive side. So it's not reliable and will peel off at edges.
