There is no doubt that I have noticed benefits from simply drinking more plain, still water. My energy levels have improved and I seem to feel less tension stored in my muscles, including around my head. About 2 litres spread over the day is good for me, more if I exercise, I still have a few cups of tea too.

My father had a highish cholesterol and was recommended by his doctor to drink more water. He also saw a nutritionist, who thought his diet was okay, so made no recommendations to change that.
