ON DEADLY GROUND is a very good film, and there's something for everyone. First to say, Seagal made his directional debut here - and in my eyes passed the test with an A+. There's more than enough action. Good acting - also by Michael Caine - and an original far-above-average-story. Then there'S a message as well.
The only thing bad I can think of is
a) the BBFC saw it neccessary to cut the film by a staggering 1 minute and 9 seconds to obtain the 15 category
b) the film hasn't been released on DVD in th UK yet (please an uncut version, Warner, even if that means an 18 Certificate).
