When my gym membership ran out a few months ago I needed to find a cheaper alternative. I love dancing so this seemed perfect for me. Unfortunatley I did not feel that it did much for my fitness at all. Some of the moves feel unecessarily uncomfortable and I found myself doing alternative steps while these were presented. I find some of it tough on the knee joints. Doing it on hard wooden floors is different to doing it on the proper sprung dance floors they use in the DVD.
You really have to over emphasise every move during the salsa dance section to feel any effects from it. The toning section is too short and not very intense.
The Ministry of Sound's Pump it Up DVD is a lot better. It isn't as cheesy and has a good boxing section ... Read More:
