I got the EX110 Desktop set with my new Dell system which I recently purchased. I didn't expect a wireless keyboard and mouse so it was, initially anyway, a very nice surprise. However! In complete agreement with many people who have posted reviews, this keyboard and mouse absolutely DEVOUR battery life. They drain batteries so quickly it's shocking. As the mouse LED is on ALL THE TIME this doesnt really surprise me. I've taken to removing the batteries from the mouse at night. Apparently the keyboard is constantly active too. How ridiculous is this from Logitech, an organisation who's bread and butter is [supposedly] quality peripherals.
