Despite saying that this book was revised in 2006, some entries were already out of date. For example, it lists "James Bond" Bottoms Up in Tsim Sha Tsui. This bar closed in 2004 (and is different to the bar with the same name which is now operating in Wan Chai). Apart from a few exceptions, most things are still accurate, and the "10 best..." format works well for a concise and pocket-size guide, and with several thumbnail pictures per page, is light and easy to dip into. It ranges in detail from "10 Highlights of Hong Kong" to "10 places to People Watch in Tsim Sha Tsui", with pages on bars, places to eat, 10 Security Tips, the 10 best sights in each region etc. Around 85 "10" lists in all (by my reckoning), plus overview ... I have this book, and think it is the best of the travel books available on Denmark. However, the coverage of the country is not particularly consistent. I definately would not use this book to help me decide on a region to visit. The region I visited on my last holiday to Denmark does not get a mention in this book, except for the largest town there. You would be much better off visiting the Danish tourist info site. If you are going to Copenhagen, this book would be good, as there is very comprehensive coverage of the capital.

Few quality books are available for hospitality & catering courses. This is the best one i have bought, full of really useful information. It has increased my knowledge of the subject a great deal. I hope it helps you as much as me!

This book is truly great. The information on inter-country travelling is superb - not given in as much detail in any other book I've found. There are so many maps that have been kept despite the serious editing that has made the book so relatively small. Accommodation descriptions and prices always accurate, and so good on local transport. A great book for the budget traveller!

We went to Hong Kong on a two day stop over to New Zealand and this is the only book to buy if you want to make sure that you cover the basic "to do" things in that country. If you are staying for more than two days then I would definitely recommend buying one of the larger books (Lonely Planet, Footprint) to supplement. I have since used the top 10 books in other cities and they are consistently excellent.

I have visited quite a few Greek islands and found this book extremely useful. I recently went to the Cyclades and the detail was excellent, however if you're going to Syros/Myknonos area I'd also pack Nobble Hospital of the Aegean by Paul Judges which offers some fascinating insights.
