reading the reviews by "jordi ab" and "a reader" has made me want to buy this book! if miserable snobs who obviouly dont have a sense of humour dont like it then i definately will and anyways why did you buy the book when you knew what it was gonna b about but decided to moan about it anyway?? learn to laugh people.

A wonderfully silly and engaging look at the subject. I would have liked the topic covered in a little more depth, but thanks anyway, it's wonderful! Very funny.

You should definitely read this book, it is an essential slice of the madness that is Britain today. But when I had finished it I felt a little underwhelmed, a little unsure, as if it somehow didn't fully explain something. Odd, but there you go.

A very funny, and fascinating story of three men crossing England in an electric milk float. I loved the radio 4 programme about their trip but having read the book it seems that barely scratched the surface of their month-long journey. A top read.

got this to give as a birthday present. Not sure if I will now. It is a brilliant laugh - could not put it down. if you have an 'odd sense of humour this is the one to go for.
