My 15 month old boy loves this book and never tires of opening the flaps.. The only slight issue I have is that it contains a lot of 'no's' in it. That is how the book runs of course as he's looking for spot in the cupboard, under the bed etc saying 'is he under the bed?' and some animal will be under the flap saying 'no'. Of course that's the way of the book, but i'm just conscious of it being in the negative state throughout for some reason, and affirming 'no' every time my boy lifts a flap.

My littl girl adores this book. There are loasd of "lift the flaps" for her to explore and the entire content is suitable for her with animals, shapes, colours etc. The only down side is that it is a paper book rather than board so some of the flaps are getting creased, also some of the flaps are very near to the spine of the book meaning that you have to be careful to make sure the flap is fully closed before you can turn the page without creasing the flap. Even so, I still think this book is a very worhwhile book for a toddler to have.

What a wonderful book! At 9 months old my son spotted this book on a book store floor waiting to be reshelved and suddenly started screaming and pointing at it and has never looked back since! This book is a truly interactive experience with precise sounds and wonderfully bright colours - ideal first read.The books structure is virtually timeless with your child bringing his own variations as he gets older. The on-page commands for pressing the buttons are very clear and provides years of fun as it is quite strudy.My advice would be to buy this now as this trully interactive experience is completely precious and will have your child running around after you shouting "ook!" "ook!" everyday!Happy reading.

We were given this book for our 11 month old daughter and she loved it as soon as she saw it. She constantly reaches for it and being musical is one of the few books she will actually happily look at by herself and do the various hand actions which accompany many of the rhymes such as "Incey Wincey Spider". Can be very entertaining to just watch her looking at it. However it is a great book for both of you to use together. It contains a page for each popular children's nursery rhyme with an easy to recognise symbol at the top to indicate which part to press on the plastic musical edge to hear the matching music.
