I purchased this book from the museum where the drawings are on display. This is a wonderful book and worth every cent. I have an old 1973 Writings and Drawings by Bob Dylan and it is good, this book is great! I just love Bob Dylan and the UK seems to have more Dylan memorabilia than we in the USA. I just buy things at random and listen to his words and music everyday. All ilisten to in my car is Dylan!!!!!!!!!!

I received this enormous book for christmas and when i opened it and flicked through it was like looking at the paintings first hand. The illustrations are fantastically clear and it provides detailed images that you probably would not be able to see in the gallery. It's definitely worth the money if you love the art of 15th-Century Florence and in particular Botticelli!

This is an astonishing book, by virtue of the fact that Leonardo Da Vinci's work is so mesmerising. The photographic reproductions are second to none, the size and scope of the book is astounding. I consider the price to be a bargain, especially as it is without doubt a book you will keep for a lifetime. I only take off one star for the reproduction of The Last Supper, that dissappoints because it's printed over two pages. A shame considering it is one of Da Vinci's most interesting pieces. However, this book is an excellent purchase and highly recommended.
