You know, I was a bit hacked off by this book. The liner notes talk about someone living in Californis writing this ‘despite the traditional inter state rivalry’ which seemed odd by way of introduction but its only when you get to read the book that you see why. For me the authors seemed to be damning pretty much most of Seattle with faint praise. Nothing seemed to be quite good enough & quite a lot was not as good as it used to be. If I hadn’t booked my flight already I would probably have opted for somewhere else as a 3 day add on to San Francisco, which would have been a shame because I found that there was quite a lot to do- even in February.
