This book never give me what I was expecting of it, am disappointing in that I needed more information and explanation in detail with the practical task from college and the pictures that are in the book there is no need giving pictures that are not fully informational in terms of labelling. This book aim at people with little or no knowledge of plumbing so it need to give more explanation. I am left at a cross road a lot of times with this book. It could be much much better.

A good book but not detailed enough. We use this as an additional training resource here at PPL Plumbing Training in York. As with the Level 3 version it seems to be aimed at younger learners. It is easy to read and gives a fair amount of coverage but we believe there are more comprehensive level 3 books out there.

Like its brother (book 1) this book has clear diagrams, concise information and appropriate levels of mathematical involvement for the (2330) I am at level III 2330 taking exams this year and have bought this book because it summarises what I must learn in the City & Guilds Schema v2.2 Certificate in Electrotechnical Technology - Installation buildings and structures. Again there are a couple of errors, but no book is without errors so do check your BS7671 Regulations for clarification on each one u think is wrong. Again I recommend this book for the Unit 1 2330-301 component of 2330. (online exam) and the NICEIC Inspection and testing book (ISBN 0-9531058-8-1)for 302 and any up to date snags and solutions will help with the diagnosis and faultfinding ... Read More:

I am on an intense plumbing course and was struggling to read though paragraphs of text from other books. I'm so glad I found this book. Plumbing, being a practical subject, isn't always easy to follow in written form, but they have really broken the subject down. They use lots of bullet points (instead of just paragraphs) which make it easier to visualise and follow; larger type, which I find makes it easier and quicker to read; clear headings, so you are able to find the topic you want quickly; as well as lots of pictures, diagrams, tables, etc. Plumbing NVQ and Technical Certificate: Level 2 by JTL also cuts out a lot of unnecessary waffle, but if you don't feel you have gone into something in enough depth then you can always refer back to ...
