This book was essential to me having a fantastic week in Paris.

Its Metro map served me particularly well and much easier to use than standing ina crowdd of 50 other tourists trying to decipher maps on the underground map on a wall.

Recommendations on ways to entertain children (we had a 4yr old with us)were pretty much spot on and all in all i would recommend the guide as an invaluable companion.

This book is great for all round use.
However, i would not reccomend itfor anyone
going trekking. there are many other booksspecifically
aimed at trekking which have much more detail than thisone.
But they will not tell you about any other part of thecountry
outside of Khumbu or the Annapurna's

Books : The Rough Guide to Paris (Rough Guide Travel Guides)
I've been to Paris more times than I can count. We spent our family summer holidays there, I went there on school trips, I've been with friends, so when my boyfriend suggested a week there I thought 'surely I've seen all Paris has to offer?'.

We had a week in which to show him, a first-timer, all the sights and to also amuse me.

The Rough Guide was invaluable. I read it through and made a note of everything we might want to visit - all the main sights, all the galleries, the shops, and also found quite a few things I didn't know about like the magic museum.

Books : The Rough Guide to Conspiracy Theories (Rough Guides)
this is a great book, conspiracy theorys has always been something thats interested me and what i like about the book is it is not one sided... it is written objectionately and in most cases allows the reader to make up theyre own mind. also worth noting is the sheer amount of stuff covered in this book... from the jfk shootings, to 9/11, to fake moon landings, fake religions, mk- ultra its all here. this book will almost certainly make you question a little bit more.
