I'm afraid I can't agree with the previous reviews. I think it is the breezy style that is precisely what is wrong with this book. There is so much waffle that you are constantly trying to get the nub of what's being said. The structure is very confused, at one point the author says because one particular topic is complex "it is best to provide a roadmap for the rest of the chapter" - Why not provide a roadmap every chapter and use clear headings/sub-headings to boot? It just feels like another textbook where the writer enjoys the sound of his own prose and isn't really thinking about how the book is going to be utilised by the student - I don't want to have to read a novel on trusts, I want to be able to dip in and out and instantly grab hold ...
