Much like the first book, there were some lovely walks described, but the description and instruction is not a patch on Wainwright. Be aware that although the book is entitled 'More Lakeland Walks', a lot of the walks are actually well outside the Lake District (one was almost in Scotland!) which was a bit disappointing and misleading. If you try to follow the walks to the letter, be prepared to trek off the marked footpaths sometimes, and f you do that, make sure you take a map and compass as well!
