I could not get past the first 60 pages of the book. I guess i was expecting more than a bunch of air heads the author has attemepted to create. I have to admit i never read DWP but saw the movie and loved it. Maybe i was expecting too much out this book?

Ok so it wasn't as good as the Devil wears Prada, but i still found it an enjoyable and entertaining read. Made me want to sit down and watch my SATC boxsets for some reason! Don't sit down expecting another Devil wears prada, if you want that then i suggest that you just read the devil wears prada again. Give it a chance and don't compare it too much, just enjoy it for what it is. Would have given it 3 and a half stars if that was an option.

I really enjoyed this book! I went on a 1 week holiday and found this book in the villa! I rushed to read it before i got home! I am really glad i picked it up! I couldn't put this book down and i would recommend it to anyone! The book is much better than the film and the book was very enjoyable to read!

Surprisingly better than I anticipated. This is exactly like reading `Ugly Betty'. Therefore if you enjoyed that television series then this will be the book for you. The characters are brilliant; a mixture of shallow and selfish from the magazine with caring and thoughtful from the lead character's world. In walks Andrea, a young girl, not long out of college with the world at her feet. Her dream job would be to work for The New Yorker but she has to work her way up. A junior job becomes available at Runway magazine and the turbulent year in her life begins. We are introduced to all the people in her life.
