I've been running for a couple of months now and even tho I was told that running was a case of...well, just running, I always felt a bit out of my depth. Being a very competitive person I thought the best thing was to run till I thought I would die, then try and run harder the next day. In the end, total burnout for me. As running is a such a natural thing, I didn't think there would be any books on how to do it, but I was amazed at how many there were. Out of all the ones I could have picked, this was by far the best choice. I started reading it and realised that I didn't have to feel bad if I couldn't run a 5 minute mile, and the relief was immense. 4.The Night Before by: Lisa Jackson 2003-07

I found this book quite slow to start with and if this was the first book I had read by lisa Jackson I may not have finished it. Instead knowing how brilliant her other books are I perservered and I was not disappointed. This book has so much mystery and suspense that in the end I finished the last 100 or so pages in one go as I could not put it down. The slow start is forgiven for the super middle and ending. I can't wait to start the next book, the morning after.

Very good story keeps you interested from the off. Great combination of romance, fear and suspense with a few surprises.

Again I enjoyed this book but have only given 3 stars as I have found other Lisa Jackson books more chilling. Make sure you read hot blooded first as I didn't and the bad 'person' in hot blooded is given away in this book therefore kind of ruining it as I don't think you get the same suspense knowing who the culprit is. Deff worth reading !!!

Again another great book by Lisa Jackson. I thought it would take me ages to read being 500 pages but I got through it fairly quick and like ever must've read the last 100 pages in one go. It has the usual twist and turns which did not disappoint and the ending sets the scene for the next book Fatal Burn.

This book is almost a follow on from The night before. I would recommend reading the night before first as although no plot lines are given away in this book it has some of the same characters and this book takes place 6 months later. Another excellent book which did not take long to read. Lisa Jackson knows how to keep her readers engrossed in a book. I gave this 4 stars as I found the earlier book the night before contained more suspense however I would Deffinatley recommend !!!

Yet again another excellent book. Again as with Lisa Jackson books it has lots of twists and mystery and suspense. You really get involved with the main charracters. A must read !!!

Wasn't sure what to expect with this book. I usually read Lisa Jackson books and had not read any books by the other 2 authors. However, the writing style of all 3 was pretty much similar and if the book had not told you which author wrote which bit you would not have guessed. This is a great read with lots of suspense and red herrings. A great story line which kept me engrossed right from the start. I am so pleased I read this as I have found another 2 authors to enjoy!
