1.Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning Official Game Guide (Prima Official Game Guides) by: M Searle

Used Price: £7.99

A very pretty guide to accompany the WAR game. All of the character classes are discussed in depth and all the necessary stats and skills/powers are explained. Character development ideas and skills sets are also covered.

What the book lacks is more information about the actual game world; and before you say anything I know there is a Map Book that can be bought separately, as I already have it :) What I mean is better explanations of the various scavenging type skills, lists of the various items and artefacts that can be found and just what everything does. I'd recommend this book to anyone new to MMORPGs or to the Warhammer World but otherwise most of the information this book contains is of limited use.

Books : Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar: The Official Strategy Guide (Prima Official Game Guides)
This book has none of the details you are looking for, do not buy it. I bought my copy safe in the knowledge I would soon be able to gloat to my friends on all the special secrets. This book has guides on how to play each class, only problem being I'd worked them out for myself. Aside from that it has a 1/3 of the book devoted to the crafting vocations, but even that is incomplete (for example no stats on what the damage of woodworker bows are). The maps are a nice idea but a little small and blurry, and there is NO questing information at all. Finally it is outdated by the new patch, lacking many basic areas and upgrades.
Stick to looking up info on supporting websites!

I thought this book delivered. It's the perfect companion to the version one of the prima guide and revealed what Lord of the Rings has to offer in all instances and areas. (Not sure why the other reviewees were disappointed, perhaps didn't realise what the book was about before buying?)

I found it especially handy when looking up deeds. It has a nice little list at the back of the book which even had the emotes deeds there. I really liked the list of quests. It comes in handy to know where to go to get quests to complete.

First of all, this guide does not cover the DS version. It covers the main console versions only.

It's extremely useful, as you would expect from a game guide, but there are some omissions and inaccuracies, some of which can be confusing and irritating. For example, with the treasure map you are told that the second bit is on Crystal Island. Later on, you discover that you can only unlock Crystal Island after you have been everywhere else, making this the last treasure map piece rather than the second.

Some of the resource information is incorrect as well, for example coconut trees provide softwood not hardwood.

Other inaccuracies or inconsistencies are within the game itself, for example if you need "stone" you ... Read More:
