Returning to bass fishing after twenty years or more I found this a very valuable source to update my knowledge. Well and sensibly written without an excess of the hype that clutters most current fishing books. Provides excellent well presented information that I have been able to put into practice. Well worth the money for anyone who fishes for bass but is not yet an expert (or will admit it!)

This book is co written by what I would refer to as a couple of the most influential anglers of their time. They have experience in abundance and they know their stuff. I can guarantee you that the modern collection of top lure anglers have studied the works of these authors because it is foundational stuff. I have had my own copy from the day it was printed and have read it several times over. It's always refreshing and stimulates your mind into trying different and new ideas (even today). Many modern works are filled out with stunning photography and beautiful scenery, gear and all those methods again (a lot are really the old techniques revisited anyway), you know what I mean.
