I must state that both Rob and Dave were my lecturers at University, when I passed my PGCE, so I openly admit that they know their subject as teachers. I have subsequently found this book in several of the schools I have taught in, and it is well received by the students. From a teachers view, it covers the specification very well in a logical manner, and is a great teaching aid. From the students view, while it is a large book, they could almost take the course without any teaching intervention. The exercises and activities are all designed to help the student hit the 'banner' requirements without spending too much time on 'practice' exercises. Almost every activity the student undertakes, potentially earns them marks.
