Okay first of all (for those of you who have already read it), how many 9 year olds do you know who have in depth conversations about finances? The author has already stated that 'rich dad is about as real as santa'. This is a very obvious con. I know it has recived 5 stars from many people, and i do understand where they are coming from - this book is inspirational! It really is! And i have given it 2 stars because it does make you realise about making money work for you. but thats it! How many readers have become millionairs? To be honest i think most of this should be common sense anyway.

But what fustrates me the most is this is an obvious con. Just get this so you know what i mean (or you could spend the money putting it into ... Read More:

I am 17 and I my Uncle bought me this as a gift.

My god am I grateful.

The information in this book is staggering, comparable only with the likes of the Zeitgeist film. A REAL eye opener.

Only downside is that several members of my family are a tad confused as to why I swear that I will never be an employee as long as I can help it!

Thankyou so much.

This book kept beating around the bush. I gained absolutely nothing from this book. To say I am disappointed is an understatement.

Having read this book, I felt I have been treated like an idiot. Worse still, the author really test my patience, having me guessed all the way through half of the book trying to guess what guidance he can give in respect to investing? Nothing, nada, zero.

Anyway, save yourself a couple of quid, I will just summarise this book in one sentence - Rich man put their money in their assets, poor man put their money in their liablity.

This was the second of this author's books that I've read, the first being 'Rich Dad, Poor Dad'. Once again Robert Kyosaki delivered and lived up to his reputation of being an easy-to-read writer and an author with much positive information to share. He's had tremendous success with his book series and deservedly so.

The ability to make money is pertinent to us all. Some of us want loads of it, others are happy to make a comfortable living at something they enjoy doing. Although no book is magically going to make everything happen for you and bring all the pieces into place without effort on the reader's part, this book certainly breaks down the business process and helps one clearly define what type of business (and therefore lifestyle) one desires.

Rich dad poor dad did not ask you to get a job unless to get experience. If you have read his books explaining the 4 types or quadrants of employee,self-employed on the left hand side and business and investing on the right hand side.
He is right school do not teach our kids about economics of deferred gratification. It seems credit card or spending seems to cure things temporarily but long term we become slaves to the repayments or become bankrupt. My kids now understand why to save and invest for their long term future

This is the second book of the series that I read. I found it very interesting with great unconventional ideas, it really motivates you and makes you start thinking about your working life. I would recommend it greatly especifically to young graduates and people at university.

This book really shows that Kiyosaki is a best-selling author (as he mentions it) but that he's not a best-writing author, to be honest I think he could've summarised all his information into a much smaller and attractive book, he generally repeats the same terms over and over, even in the course of 2 pages he repeats the same quotation of his rich dad around 4 - 5 times. The latter makes the book quite tedious to read, however if you are prepared to leave this at a side, the content of this book ... Read More:
