I read this book during my first year at Uni and found it to be informative and useful. Although it can be dull in some parts it is a decent introduction to OO systems analysis. However do read other books on this subject to accompany this book.

This book is NOT a good book for learning or referencing UML.

The authors have a terrible writing style, the wording and struture is awful, which makes it incredibly difficult to read, and follow.
Whilst the fluency is none existent.

The diagrams and examples are random, there is no noticable theme, and the introduction to some complex diagrams follows a 'deep end' & 'thrown in' approach.

In all I can see no reason for this book. If you are learning UML it is far too unhelpful, if you require a reference look elsewhere.

Booth, Pamela Appleford, Robert L. Smith, Roger Courtney, Sheila Cozens, Simon Fitter, Timothy Dudley-Smith

I bought this book for some sing along fun with my young family. I'm not remotely religious, but there are some "classics" here that I enjoyed singing at school in the 1980's and I was surprised by how many I still knew well.

There are two complete edtions on offer, so I went for this the cheaper version, as I couldn't see any reason not to. When it arrived I realised it was cheaper because it is the WORDS ONLY edition - a fact which you can't quite make out from the picture (or at least I couldn't). Anyway, I now have the other edition too which has the WORDS AND MUSIC which helps if you want to play along as I did.

Hope that helps.

4.The Complete Come and Praise: Music and Words (Come & Praise) by: Colin Evans, David Cooke, David Lynch, David Self, David Stoll, Donald Swann, Edna Bird, Elizabeth Bennett, Estelle White, Tom McGuinness, Geoff Marshall-Taylor, Geoffrey Gardner, Hazel Charlton, Jancis Harvey, John (Edward) Jones, John Oxenham, Marion Payton, Dexter.J.
