Enjoyed this book from start to end. The type of book to have by your bedside at night. Will pass to my children when slightly older....The author introduced me in to the wonderful world of nursery rhymes. When I purchased this book, Amazon recomended buying "Now Then Lad"!! This also is a fantastic read.

This is a great book, I now have three of Rachel's books and this is by far my favourite. In response to the previous review, this book does have some casseroles (lemon and garlic chicken), maybe not all in the traditional slow cooked meat and veg sense but there are other great baked meals such as sausage and bean bake, cottage pie, lasagne and mediterranean pasta bake. I think it was a bit unfair to give the book 1 star based on the fact that it has no casseroles, especially as quite obviously that is not what the book is solely about. For casseroles and stews I would recommend Sophie Conran's Soups and Stews There are a wide variety of baked goodies in this book; tarts, pies, quiches, breads, cakes, biscuits and also jams. ... Robert Muchamore is an author who always delivers - until now! The first in the Cherub series, The Recruit, had me hooked from the start on the adventures of child spy James Adams and his sister, Lauren. No other spy books - Alex Rider, Young James Bond, Jimmy Coates etc - could touch Cherub for quality, excitement or pure enjoyment. However, I feel very let down by The General. Much of Muchamore's talent comes from creating believable and likeable characters, characters you invest your emotions in - characters you come to care about. I have been waiting for this book for years.... and now when I have read it, I hope it was never written. IT does not at all live up the the Pillars of earth. Neither does it compare to some of the other good books Ken Follet has written. 150 pages less and it might have been ok. I try to end all the books I start, but this was heavy. The story line was light, some of the "histories" within the story are totally out of scope (like nuns in french war). I read 6 books in my vacation. This was the worst.

I have all Gordon Ramsey's books and this one is ideal for people who think everything he creates is expensive This book deals with things like Oxtail soup which is a simple recipe and easy to make I really recommend this title for everyday cooking with the Ramsey touch

Colourful, funny, vibrant - fantastic book for the under 5's It's follow-up Dinosaurs love underpants is also great, my son loves choosing which pair of pants he's going to wear from the inside cover, a lot of imagination, thought and effort has gone into these books. One to add for sure!

I loved this book when I was little. I'm sure we had the paper version. But my 10 month old daughter now loves the indestructable board version. A must have.

Although I bought this with my four yeat old in mind,My almost three year old has enjoyed the work books just as much ,and thanks to her older sister is already pointing out letter sounds in her everyday activity's. This prouduct, has I feel given my children a head start on the road to learning!

This is a brilliant and very cheap little book. It doesn't take much reading and has all the area you could require for a simple garden. The A-Z of vegetables is clear; just what is needed to go with the month by month guide. It is also helpful to deal with any problems one might come across. All together a well rounded book! Some of the diagrams would perhaps benefit from some colour though. Carla x
