I'm probably preaching to the converted, but ISIHAC is intelligent, naughty, fantastic, foolish, sarcastic, and more. iPod users beware - you simply cannot stop yourself laughing to this. The radio in my car died and so I dug these out of my cupboard. Haven't enjoyed the commute so much for ages. Don't miss out.

Sorry to voice a note of slight discontent..but.... although this is a very vibrant, well acted, fast firing parody of Dickensian childhood tales (mostly Great Expectations and David Copperfield)... I felt it lacked a little in staying power. Yes, when I first heard it, driving to B+Q, I actually stayed listening to it in the carpark until it had finished (mostly with jaw dramatically dropped). Then I promptly missed most of the following weeks so I was really looking forward to catching up. There isn't much actual story. I mislabled it on itunes in my haste to listen to it while gardening. Believe me you will not regret buying this. The show starts off fairly slow in the first series but it really comes into its own in the more recent series. The show works very well with incredibly funny contestants such as Graeme Gardener, Tim Brooke Taylor and Barry Cryer. You cannot forget to mention the superb Humphrey Lyttelton and his dead pan delivery. The show is now and the refreshed by some new faces appearing for a few shows, these include people such as Stephen Fry and Paul Merton.

Another reviewer of this product complained that the interview section with Charles Richardson isn't very funny - a reaction I simply can't understand, as these twelve interviews are simply the funniest exchanges I have ever heard. Gerard Hoffnung was just 35 when he died, but he sounds like a portly (and utterly mad) sixty-year-old, and his timing and instinct for the absurd are just exquisite. A special mention to Charles Richardson, a totally straight American reporter, assigned to extract a meaningful interviews from this eminent musician and cartoonist but finding each attempt he makes to start a conversation quickly unravelling and thus being driven ever so gently to utter exasperation. This is so funny you will be in pain, ISIHAC will keep you amused for hours, use it again and again and again this is worth 6 stars there is only one bad thing-there will never be another Willy Rushton. Apart from that there is nothing funnier you can buy!!!

Most Christmas specials are dire :- the same bad jokes about turkey, wrapping and dissapointing presents.The "ISIHAC" team instead hilariously mock "A Christmas Carol" but manage to fit in the usual games :- cover your ears as Fry & Hardy salughter "A wandering Ministrel"; Samnatha is at it gain and "Mornington Crescent" is given the royal treatment. Clever, witty and festive, audio Prozac I believe !

I listen to this driving in to work. It makes me laugh, even on a Monday morning. Trouble is, other drivers think I'm insane or laughing at them and give me grief, glowering at me from their cars. That makes me laugh even more. Give up on Wogan and The Today Programme and get this instead.
