This is a BIG fold-down map - ain't it always the way, all the 'key' places/roads/etc., are on the folds! Seriously, the BIG format is un-useful if you're driving long distance. It's a PAIN to keep stopping and re-folding - buy a book.

Have used this map on two holidays and found it to be very accurate for both paths for walking and roads. Shows all roads including unsealed roads that you will need to use to get to the remote beaches. The usual holiday maker maps don't have the detail that this one has. Places of interest are marked, but there is no tourist info as it is a proper map. Is very durable, not shown any signs of wear and tear despite quite a hammering. In fact, like a twit I managed to throw mine away while cleaning out the car and I am going to buy another. If you want to drive in Menorca,buy this map for directions and a guide book for tourist information.

Unlike the previous reader, I found this map very durable and difficult to tear. It has a protective detachable cover. It is water proof. I used it to drive around Northern Spain and found it accurate and easy to read.

I took this map on a 5 day walking holiday around Mallorca and found that after the first day the waxy layer of the map actually came off. Mallorca is a great place for walking, but it is not the friendliest environment. What I mean by that is that there are rocky paths, scrambling, very scratchy bushes and heat. The map does not well if in contact with sweat, the surface is just coming off. The folds aswell started to disintegrate after 5 days. The content of the map itself did not seem to have all the tracks and paths on it. If you are a hillwalker like myself, and if you expect something like a Ordance Survey Map , this is definitely not the map for you. There are other maps available which are better and you can buy them everywhere ... Read More:
