This book has been written in the sense of a dialogue between master and disciple reminicent of the Corpus Hermeticum. However in this case the reader may or may not find these imposed questions useful or, indeed annoying... This is a book which is either going to hit a chord, or will seem like utter nonsense. From my point of view as an average reader, I have found it very important because it explores concepts of this mind/ego (a double) which is inside of each person which needs confronting in someway. I CANNOT SPEAK HIGHLY ENOUGH OF THIS BOOK. THIS TRULY IS A LIFE CHANGING BOOK! I have read many books on spirituality but this book is still my favourite. My advice - If you are new to the concepts introduced in this book then, please just be patient and openminded to explore a different belief system. Anything by Esther Hicks has to be considred worthy of attention, this is no less. Here we start to move in the right direction, and that is wealth creation. Well done Esther and Jerry.

Don't bother with this book. One must suspect that it's all a clever trick which will contribute to Paul McKenna's success in life but definitely not to yours. I followed the book and listened to the CD exactly as directed. It's hard to believe the generally platitudinous advice but for a week it seems worth a try. Of course absolutely nothing changed and I question my naivety in ever thinking that reading a simplistic book and listening to a frankly very boring CD could make any difference in the real world. There are many people who seem to feel that this book helped them but my suggestion would be to attend instead to your own problems and not to look for simple solutions. It certainly wasted my time and money.

I have followed Doreen's teachings for some time now, this handy book really does give more of an insight into something that only an expert such as Doreen could write about. They way she puts things across is so easy to pick up and I really do feel a warmth from her. Keep it up, Doreen, thanks.

Bought this book with good expectations as I had found her previous book Sinful Sex very useful. Found that this book is basically a republication of Sinful Sex less the line drawings, which I personally considered one of the most useful parts of Sinful Sex.

Randy Pausch was a remarkable man and this book offers new perspectives on the things he could only touch on within the time constraints of his last lecture. It also reveals different aspects of his complex character. A perhaps uniquely American and Internet age attempt to face death and pass on hard won wisdom. Well worth reading and learning from.

I looked at this book because I heard a lot about it and wanted to see for myself what all the fuss was all about. My first clue that this book was a horse of a different color was when I found it in the "metaphysical" section of the bookstore. I have to be honest though, I never made it through the whole book. It centers around this "spirit" called Abraham and all the advice and teaching it gave to the authors. Definitely for the "New Age" crowd, if this kind of thing interests you, then for the type of book that it is, its a good one. The book has 22 sections, whose purpose is to help you achieve your goals in life by asking you some reflective types of questions- which I did find motivating.
