I bought this for a bit of a laugh. I always wanted to dress up as a Klingon, enter a busy bar on a Saturday night and ask the barman for a prune juice, then headbutt the first bloke who gave me a funny look whilst telling him (in Klingon of course) that his mother has a smooth forehead.

Now, as soon as I get the costume I can, and a whole lot more. It's not easy though. Don't expect to read from cover to cover and be able to speak Klingon like Worf and Martok though. That just ain't gonna happen...

I bought this for my ten-year old son, who is reading the LOTR trilogy after thoroughly enjoying the films. He is finding it an excellent reference work to accompany the book and is enjoying looking things up in it.

Books : Klingon "Hamlet" (Star Trek)
One may wonder why any Terran without the slightest interest in Klingon or Star Trek would search out this book. Gentle reader, I can only recommend you to persevere. 'Khamlet,' by that well-known dramatist Wil'yam Shex'pir, is worth your attention. Forget that the plot is well-known and the Klingon language obtuse, the introduction and appendices are fascinating.

As a somewhat closet Trekkie, I bought this book out of curiousity, unable to resist the appeal of the phrase "You have not experienced Shakespeare, until you have read him in the original Klingon," as in the film Star Trek VI. Yet, I confess that with my first degree in English Literature from the University of Cambridge, I was most intrigued by the literary criticism ... Read More:

This book is about the land of Numenor and the later annals of the Valar and of Beleriand. But in my opinion the most interesting part of this book are the Lhammas. This is the perfect book you must read before reading The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings.
