I had heard of this book a few years back when my son was 2. For his 3rd birthday party, I made a whole host of scrumptious food from the book, which not only looked fabulous, but was very easy to do, and tasted absolutely fantastic. Lots of healthy, fun and delicious recipes for all the family to enjoy.I also used this book for my daughter's 1st birthday party, and everyone loved it! I already have Annabel's 'baby and toddler cook book' and the 'meal planner' and I had absolutely no doubt in my mind that Annabel Karmel's Complete Party Planner was the only one I wanted to use for my children's parties! Thanks Annabel! Looking forward to the next book!

Halloween tends to be an exceedingly interesting time of year in the Redhart household. This is a fantastic book. I ordered it on a chance that the cake on the cover would be the setting for the entire book and it is. all of the designs are modern, fun and simple, just how cakes should be. These are truly beautiful designs that are easily achieved by a beginner as well as a professional. I make cakes for a living and I can see this book being well thumbed by my customers and well used by me. Lovely fresh designs depicting the style that celebration cakes are taking right now. Highly recommended!

Another brilliant cake book from Debbie Brown. The designs in this book can be approached by a first time cake maker or a professional. I make cakes for a living and own all of Debbie Brown's books, I think she has the best style of all the current novelty cake authors at the moment. The instructions are easy to follow and all the designs are very appealing. I would only put her 50 Easy Party Cakes book ahead of this one for kids cakes.

I originally borrowed this book from the library and was so impressed decided to purchase my own copy. It is full of good ideas for party games and certainly will form the basis of my daughter's fast approaching 3rd birthday party. We've already been playing some of the games as a family. It is organised by age group - it covers 1-5 years - so its easy to select the appropriate games. Well worth the money.
