One of the best books I've read in a long while, would highly recomend it to anyone and everyone! A great book about a great man.

If you are needing to learn both SPSS and statistics at the same time and intimidated at all by the math, this is a great book to help take you through the quagmire of both the SPSS software, the principles of statistics and make sense of it all too! Andy Field has done an excellent job at taking much of the mystery out of how and why to use the various tests. The book is comprehensive but the analysis of my research and study is focussed primarily on correlation, t-tests and regression. There are chapters in the book I will probably never read as I cannot foresee ever needing to read them. Russell tells his story exactly as you would expect him to relay it to you in person. He has a knack of making really ordinary events funny esp. the gerbils incident, couldn't stop laughing. I love his theatrical style and witty view on life. It certainly gives an insight to his complex personality and I still wonder why he turned to drugs. Anyway, I believe he was honest about his experiences and found it to be genuine indeed. I'd definitely be interested in his next chapter!

It's been ages since I've read this book so I'm not going to say much but this book should be read. Teachers have started not to study this book in schools because it has the word nigger in it (well in this country they have started to stop). It's more important now to read it them ever, this book promotes tolerance rather than racism. It's not the quickest book to read but it's a great book, I'm never going to give this book away.

This book and Gina's approach are by far the most thoughtful and most understanding of a babies needs i.e good sleep means good feeding means good sleep. It is not and never intends to be prescriptive and looking through many of these reviews I am disapointed that the reviewers are not able to see that Gina is giving a system to meet your babies needs - she assumes that you know how to cuddle and love your baby so obviously does not give you a time to day to do it!! I for one needed to be reminded to take care of myself and really appreciated Gina's advice on diet to support breast feeding and having breakfast! I am consistently amazed by the level of feeling around Gina's structured approach as I know my daughter, my many nieces and nephews have thrived ... Read More:

The three earlier books in this series are amongst the best fantasy novels I've ever read. Unfortunately, 'The Singing' is not, in my opinion, nearly so good. 'The Riddle', for instance, is a thrilling book from start to finish. It's shocking and visceral - the sort of book that has you anxious for the safety of its characters throughout. The problem, for me, with 'The Singing' is that it has nothing close to that excitement. In fact, it has very little tension, very few if any surprises, and most importantly didn't demand an engagement with its characters from this reader in the way 'The Riddle' demanded you sat up straight and paid attention. I've read and enjoyed all of Kathy Reichs' other novels, and I have to say that I was shocked by how poor an effort "Devil Bones" was. The characterization was spare at best, the plot was unimaginative and could have been lifted straight from any of her other books (it probably was, come to think of it). Tedious little forensic science lectures do little to lift this unimaginative book. I shan't be buying one of these again in a hurry ....

My son aged 10 is heavily into Dr Who and was dying to get this annual. He was impressed by this new one and found it both interesting and entertaining. Although a cheap gift he rated it above some of the PS2 games he was given!!! Would recommend this annual for any Dr Who fan.
