A great way to learn Chinese. I found it fantastic. There are no translations of the conversations, but all the words and grammar you need to use are given, so you can work out the translations, this makes it a great learning tool.

The usual monotheistic dominance: a single all knowing god. I've spent a lifetime trying to get away from people who want a monotheistic god - who just happens to be what they want him / her to be. I don't mind people wanting this - but Kelly could put that on the cover and I will happily steer clear. But (as usual) the assumption seems to be that everyone will believe and want what Kelly believes. I guess my starting point is to say I have beliefs and it is very unlikely that they will be other people's. I think that mediation / self hypnosis has something to offer people who are different to me. I can respect how they are and what they believe. If only Kelly and Christians were capable of the same.

I bought Audio version of this book from itunes as I can listen but may buy the book as well just to back up what was said, the book gives case studies from known people like dragons den`s James Cann and other well known business people and how they got started and gives snippets of what their best advice would be. It is not surprising that the advice they give is very similar in style and not one of them says that they regret anything about how they got started. Buy it, it truly is a great book.

Bought this for my new granddaughter, and although she is only a few weeks old she loves listening to the cd, a beautiful book!

most of these shows were previously released on beeb disks. some may have had an additional tweak or two, but nothing obvious. "dishonoured" is new to me as is "forog". the latter suffers from very poor quality sources, which is unfortunate. the latter is a great recording of a very funny performance. it was re-recorded as "dishonoured - again" & released by emi but this performance is arguably better - the recording is definitely better.

The first thing to say is that the Michel Thomas way is perfect for me. I did his Spanish course and it gave me the motivation to take conversation lessons. The big problem is not the saying or reading of a language, it is the listening to others and understanding what they are saying that is difficult. So, having completed the Italian course I feel very confident with the structure and cognate vocabulary, and I just need to practice. Having followed Michel Thomas's Spanish course in the past I have to say that I found the Italian version less comprehensive than the Spanish. There seems to be a lot of time spent on the will and would, and the stressed 'r' on the word endings. As with the Spanish course you have to get past the students mistakes, but I think that ...
