Something about this man's voice really grates; a strong London/Southern accent and none of the soothing qualities I'd expect in a hypnotist. At one point he just keeps saying 'go to sleep, go to sleep' like a slightly irritated parent with a toddler. I keep trying it cos I am desperate to sleep, but usually have to get up and switch it off half way through cos I can't bear it!

More than 20 years ago now, a good friend pressed a copy of "The Colour of Magic" into my hands that launched a love affair with Terry's books that lasts to this day. Like most frustrated authors who lack the talent to deliver themselves, I read a lot, and I think I have read pretty much all that Terry has written since 198whatever, and yes some of it is quite a lot better than some other bits, but his work has never once been a disappointment. So I was delighted to see Nation appear on the shelf last week and have just used a rainy Sunday morning to finish it. Bought this at a signing last week and I haven't put it down since. Parky has met some of the most important people of the last 40 years and lead a fascinating life. Despite all that success he remains extremely charming and humble, wrote a lovely message in the book I bought for my mum. Perfect xmas gift.

I have tried hypnosis CDs previously (Paul McKenna) without results or significant effects so when i stumbled accross Glenn Harrolds CD i thought id have one last go with a different hypnotherapist. The results have been better than i could have wished, i lost 6 pounds in around 10 days and have kept the weight off too! My weight is going down slowly and steadily and i think about food in a totally different way now. I would recommend listening to any of Harrolds CDs once a week so as to keep your mind focused on your goals, it works better this way.

I fully praise this product for differing from the over populated language learning tools market. While the market has many examples of good books and CDs, they are yet to be combined in such a way as this. The only fault I could really mention is that with the CD refering to the books a lot, it wouldn't be a viable purchase for learning in the car or on the move, for example. You'll need the time to put in to learning your chosen language, but should you put the time in it will pay off.

I have read all Rankin`s previous works - also the non-Rebus titles but I have never been bored. That is until this one...... In short it took me 2 weeks to accomplish the reading and all the time I felt like putting it away, but hey, one owe Rankin to read it to the end. And I did. I`m sure the next one will be better, indeed couldn`t be much worse.

This thing, the deathly hallows, the beginning wasn't the best beginning, but... I could not stop reading it. I don't understand why people think the ending is disappointing. The Nineteen years later could be expanded into a book, maybe, but, if J.K doesn't then that's all we really need to know to end the Harry potter phenomenon. Hopefully she will deliver another H.P book, because I know, I know, it won't end here.

These CDs should really be purchased alongside the course book. After having ordered the CD set alone, I discovered that to enable a full understanding of what was happening, and to expand my reading and pronunciation and recognition of French, the course book was essential. May I fully recommend spending the extra £10 - if you really would like to benefit as much as is possible from the French Experience 2 Course, then do so. I have been learning French in for 2 years, and found this intermediate course study `just right' for the stage I was at. After following the `Encore Tricolore' scheme, this appeared to act as a perfect `stepping-stone' from Encore Tricolore 2 to 3. May I also recommend the other BBC Language books. [...]
