First of all, let me start by saying I give this book 5/5 only to balance off the 1/5 given previously. I would give this book 4/5, but I am genuinely nonplussed by people giving it 1 or 2 stars on flawed arguments, those at the moment are: different writing style and poor characters.

Well firstly the writing style: what they mean here is that when we are presented with Darujhistan, Erikson decided to write an overview of sorts about the happenings of certain characters, from the view point of Kruppe (I could explain better but I'm rushing with this). This writing style is somewhat different to his norm, but not all that bad (I quite like it as it furthers the feeling that Kruppe knows everything that goes on in Darujhistan and ... Read More:

This book is really funny. Louise Rennison continues to make readers laugh in thins book. Georgia Nicolson a teenager in need for love is desperate to settle things out between the two boys that she is inlove with: the lurve god and dave the laugh. It is hysterical and i defoinately recomend it for girls aged 13-16!

Many others have commented before so I only want to express my disappointment that the master's slip is showing as it were. I believe that Terry's last few novels have been less than perfect and this one is another rung down the ladder. But having said that I read it virtually overnight and it is still the benchmark that other comedy fantasists have to reach and seldom overcome. Unfortunately having set the bar so high he doesn't quite make it over this time.

Janet must be laughing all the way to the bank! She should be ashamed of herself. She has taken what was a fantastic series and blemished it with this pathetic tale. No real plot, a parody of itself: there is nothing good about this book. I thought the 'in-between the numbers' books were the most pathetic, clearly I was wrong. This book is terrible. I will not be purchasing anymore of her books. Its up to Charlaine Harris to keep series writing going!

Couldn't put Cityboy down, great read, made me laugh constantly. Just how i imagined these guys to behave.
I'm sure that there are plently of people laughing at themselves for making it into the hall of fame.......even if they are not named.
Get the impression that most of them would be over the moon if they were named.............then they could give it the real biggun!!!!!
Once again, brilliant entertainment, highly recommended.

I read this book because i was getting bored with the usual girly reads and i'm so glad i did! This book is amazing. The descriptions are fantastic, not too long that you get bored but so accurate you can picture yourself driving through cornwall and digging the garden with them! I love cornwall so the combination of the area and the history behind the house is great. I loved the way the book goes between the past history of pearl, the hidden secrets behind their lives and the love story interlinking it all! The final chapter was enough to make me reach for the tissue box! A great read which leaves you wanting more and more! Read it cause you'll love it!

So not everyone loves the way that Cecelia Ahern writes a book and with one and two of them i can agree but i think that this one worked! I found myself laughing out loud is so many places and the fun that the main character and her father got upto, kind of reminds me of the fun and games that a child gets upto with their grandfather. I would highly recommend this one as an easy and light read

this is another fine outing for Roy Grace and is probably the best of the series to date. The discovery of the bodies of two females one in Brighton the other in Australia are linked to a Brighton business man who was thought to have died in New York on 9/11 and in some way, this is then linked to a young woman who is being terrorised. Peter james weaves these strands together effortlessly and at times the book is very difficult to put down. The one detraction Grace has to contend with is fellow Detectice Superintendant Cassian Pewe, which I for one found to be totally uneccessary though it does not detract from the overall enjoyment.

This book is absolutely brilliant, even if u are not a westlife fan i would buy it as it will change ur opinion on them. I got my book the day it came out and queued for 8hours at manchester to get it signed!!!! It shows u that Westlife arent just a cover band in suits, they are four normal lads enjoying what they do. This book makes u feel that u know the lads on a more personal level, it makes u feel like u have been on the tour bus with them, backstage before and after the shows and been through the ups and downs that they have. Also the lads write their own personal messages to fans in the book which makes u feel like that are actually talking to u. This book shows u how much Westlife really appreciates their fans.

ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There isn't much product information available on Amazon so to give you an idea what it's about, Adam Chase lives in New York having left his home town five years following an acquital from a murder charge - all this is revealed within first and second chapter so it isn't a plot spoiler - but his friend from home calls him and he has to go back. When he gets home people start turning up dead and unfortunately Adam looks like number one suspect with only him being able to clear his name.

The writing style took me a little while to settle into. The sentences are disjointed in places and there is no descriptive narrative as such. The only thing I can compare it to is Gordon Ramsey when he does his recipes and he simply says the bog standard ingredient and method. Hopefully ... Read More:
