Another wonderful book from this great partnership. The books are of a consistently high quality in both the stories and the illustrations, which means that my son never tires of any of them. Regular readers will see some familiar faces popping up again in this one with the story based on the themes of family and belonging. This is certain to become a firm favourite with many families.

I'd always enjoyed being read and later reading myself the Just So Stories. With children of my own I started them on these stories and having a cd of them means we can enjoy them on the move. The joy of hearing Jonnie Morris' super animal voice characterisations just adds to the enjoyment - takes me back to watching Animal Magic - deep joy! Four year old daughter enjoys listening to the stories but my nine year old son has become a great fan - this now regularly is on his cd player in his room. Buy this and you'll all be able to listen together and enjoy.

I bought this for my 8 year old daughter on the basis of the reviews on Amazon. I was not disappointed! It really is easy to do (even if you're not that creative yourself!). Use the stencils to create catwalk sensations - I bought it a week ago and have already sent for the refill pack as we have run out of hangers to display our creations. Loads of fantastic paper, sequins, beads, ribbon and glue (but only 20 hangers). My daughter absolutely loves it and can do it herself without any help - will definitely be buying more for presents for friends etc. Without a doubt this is fantastic value for money and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys craft activities (adults and children). You will not be disappointed!

Lovely books and lovely story cd's too. So much nicer in the car than mind bending childrens music ALL THE TIME! We've even managed to get our 2 year old to stay at the table for a complete meal if the cd is on. I cannot recommend this highly enough. It's just a shame there is only one story collection available.

What's all the fuss about? Watch the films instead: that's enough. Only just OK for a quick skim through if there's nothing better on the shelf or in your bag: so much of this book is unnecessary and should've been consigned to any decent editor's bin. But, one of the most profitable franchises in history, so what do I know? However, look at any chart - what does everyone else know?

Keep it simple, keep it fast and keep it jokey: Perfect entertainment for the mid-teens (and older). I've enjoyed all the Artemis Fowl novels to date - and this latest, Artemis Fowl and the Lost Colony, is no exception. For those not in the know, Artemis is a teenage genius with a penchant for crime, and a big - very BIG - minder called Butler. He's been annoying the hell out of the fairy kingdom for years, although, having saved each other from disaster more than once, they have the sort of a love-hate relationship neither side would admit to: Holly, ex-LEPrecon (the fairy police), is his principle contact and Foley (the centaur) the technical wizardry supplier - oh, and there is a singularly repulsive character called Mulch, the perfect ... I remember reading Janet and Allan Ahlberg books when I was a child and can still recite sections from memory so was really looking forward to introduing my own children to their books. I have 20 month old twins and it was a real joy to find that they were just as entranced with this tale as I was. Given small children's love of repition it is a delight to find a book which they love and which is actually a joy rather than a chore to reread to them time and time again. The text is lovely and the level of detail in the pictures allows all three of us to find new things to spot each time we look at it. All in all a delightful book which I could not recommend highly enough for any parents of babies or small children.

I have read the first five books so far abd devine madness is definately the best one!! The plot was really good and the characters were as great as ever. I would definately recommend this book to both children and adults. I hope the next books will get better and better!! The cherub series are real pagetuners!!! xx
