It has sections on history, the main sights to see, Hiking, other activities, nightlife, festivals/events, shopping, accommodation, food, getting there/around. My partner borrowed this and "Rough Guide to California". Look up that book - 100 times better than this and I am a Lonely Planet fan (South East Asia on a Shoe String, Oz, New Zealand, South America on a Shoe String). We travelled from LA to San Francisco to Vegas via all the main sites. We found little practical information in this book (considering its purpose) - for example, there is half a page dedicated to what to do if you see a celebrity in LA and about the same on the southern LA coast and places to see there. Other areas it lacked were suggested routes around, itineraries, history, places to stay and eat (I don't rely on these books but they are often a good starting point when you don't have the internet with you) ... I have bought this book prior to our 2nd visit to Orlando. It is brilliant, honest and informative. It makes great suggestions for alternatives to the big theme parks. A handy size for taking on holiday too, packed with information. I thought this holiday wouldn't be as hectic as the last but with all the additional things on my to-do list thanks to this book I should be going for another week! Only fault is the maps, they could have been clearer and easier to refer to. Other than that a must for anyone heading to Orlando.
