This map looks and feels top quality. A quick check of the small places I know seems they haven't forgotten the detail. This map would be ideal for touring on the road (what I will use it for eventually) but not so useful for planning as it is split across back/front for north and south India. I know India is a big place, but for planning a 6 month trip it's not so great to be flipping the map back and forth - plus, you can't stick it to a wall for an overall view. BUT - on the road this will be great. Quality is brilliant and the price is fantastic.

There is a map of all the central color coded areas on the inside of the front cover, and inside the back cover, a more complete map of the region. Each chapter is a "color", covering Back Bay and South End, Beacon Hill and West End, North End and the Waterfront, Old Boston and Financial District, and Chinatown and the Theater District. Thought I'd leave a short message on Beyond Disney. I bought the book in readiness for a week long trip, after purchasing a Flex Ticket Plus, and with plans to visit the major theme parks (Non Mouse related). Simply the book made the holiday easier and far better. The reviews of the attractions were generally spot on, although the Mummy ride at Universal Studios must surely be the best ride imaginable. Only slight problem is the changes that have taken place at the parks since the book was published, e.g. The Simpsons replacing Back To The Future, but that is a minor quibble and it's not as though I wouldn't have ridden The Simpsons. The idea of giving an outline for the best way to tour each park during the day is worth the ... Read More:

Really useful. A large scale map of the region plus city/town maps on reverse - ideal for my fly-drive holiday to the region. Doesn't show roads in national parks though - maybe this is because there aren't any????

This book really does contain everything you need to know about Las Vegas. It gives an honest, critical appraisal of pretty much every aspect of the city, and while it plays to Vegas' strengths, you'll also see that it's not all roses. This is particularly evident in the architecture section and when talking about transport and certain areas between Downtown and the Strip. A must have book for anyone visiting Vegas, or who just wants a good look at what its like warts and all.
