Based upon Greek Army maps, it is easy to read and full of those useful bits of information such as grade of road, location of petrol stations and distances between villages essential to the independant motorist. Minor draw back was lack of a street map of Argostoli - hence only 4 stars (would have liked to give 4.5 stars). The map certainly added to the enjoyment of our stay. Money well spent.

This map is printed on a strage plasticky paper which is very tear resistant and also accidental-drop-in-rock-pool proof. It is easy to handle and refold. When folded it is a nice compact size but opens out pretty big. It is very clear and easy to use to find places with the index. The map has Southern Greece on one side and Northern on the other - my only criticism is that I always open it the wrong way up for which side I'm looking for!
