Another great installment from the horror master Darren Shan. Most of the action takes place on Wolf Island as the title suggests but moves the story on in terms of the genesis of the main character Grubbs Grady. Its fast paced and grisly but fun at the same time. It sets up nicely for the finale next year - I can't wait to see how all the loose ends tie up.

Loved the first, was amazed by the second, and I had to take three days holiday to read the last! To say it's un-put-downable is, for once, no exaggeration.

Unlike the other reviewers, I thought that Eclipse was the best in the series so far. (It is the third in a set of four). The love triangle between Bella, Edward and Jacob was so sad and frustrating because we all know that she made the foolish choice in the end but the chemistry between her and her "choice" was so electric, you cant condemn her for it.

What woud you choose? A vampire or a werewolf? hmmmmm difficult choice....

I thoroughly enjoyed the action in this book and found every page an enthralling read. The emotional scenes between Bella and Edward left me with a spine tingling sensation but the one between Bella and Jacob just made me sad.

The characters were really good, the plot was excellant but ... Read More:

The 2nd volume of the void trilogy continues the saga started in last years "The Dreaming Void". As before this, is a complex multi-threaded narrative combining the machinations and intregue of the Commonwealth factions and their stooges with the ongoing story of the Waterwalker inside the void itself. As the book progresses both the capabilties of the void and the threat posed by it become clearer leading to the final positioning of the characters before the concluding volume.

I can't rate this book highly enough though I found that in contrast with the last volume, the waterwalker's narrative strand was somewhat more engageing that the wider positioning strands outside the void. I can't wait for the final volume, this is a mighty space ... Read More:

35.Nigella Express by: Nigella Lawson
September 06, 2007
Average Rating: out of 5 stars

>>More Details
Books : Nigella Express
It's my first Nigella's book and it's truly wonderful. Easy to make and follow recipes and beautiful pictures. Not to mention her enchanting writing style.

So far I have tried couple of recipes and they all have turned out great.

One thing which I'd complain about a little, Nigella doesn't really season her meat but adding salt and pepper is my contribution to the recipes :).

This is the book when you want to fix something yummie for dinner but you're running out of time.

The Secret is an outward introduction and explanation of how we think on the inside becomes what we experience on the outside, because what we think we mirror and attract. With this aim, the book hits the mark.

If you are getting into personal development you will find the contents very easy to read, with superb explanations. The whole thing is gentle, encouraging, informative and uplifting.

People who have advanced and aligned themselves will find it does not give any new depth of knowledge, actual practice, or reference ordinary people who have achieved true creation and expansion; I will offer this advancement to you soon. As far as the book is concerned, it is a mirror, mirror on the wall image and introduction and does what ... Read More:

This is the most wonderful book I've ever read. She is whitty, charismatic and her insights and paths are so similar to mine I was able to relate on every page. Even if this is not similar to your path (some of my happily or newly married friends were not fussed by it) she stresses the importance of getting in touch with who you really are and how to find you. I have bought about 10 of these books and have given them to friends around the world from all walks of life. Amazing book I give it my highest recommendation.

After reading Twilight, I found myself completely obsessed with Edward, so when I heard that Edward wasn't in New Moon much, I was quite upset. But I read New Moon anyway, unable to resist, and actually found myself really enjoying it, even though Edward was missing from its pages. I liked getting to know and like Bella more, and was especially fond of Jacob, who is really sweet, warm and likable. I also discovered that it cured my "Edward bug" considerably, which I was glad of (though of course I still love him). I was very happy that I read it.

How do you fill the void left after watching the final episode of one of the greatest tv shows of all time ? Go back to the source and that's what this is without this book there is no The Wire. It's a remarkable book and one that hasn't really dated unlike the TV series of the same name.
The premise is well described David Simon writes about a year in the life of the homicide department of Baltimore what suprised me was that it isn't written for the journalist point of view so instead we get informed what the detectives are thinking. It's hard to explain that for the veteran detectives we see that there is no personal crusade to solve the crimes it's a job and not a highly paid one so if it's not the money what compels these individuals to keep going especially when faced ...
