well done sheila!I thoroughly enjoyed your book, i feel as though i have gone on your journey with you from just the two of us,it makes you realise that there is life after death, it does take courage, but if you are prepared to dip your toe in the water, its amazing what happens, i am getting my husband to read it too, because it does prepare you for the inevitable, be it him or me.I also enjoy being at an age where you dont care what you say or do, its so refreshing and liberating,next time you go away and your friend cannot make it, i would love to tag along for the adventure!!!!!!!!!!! looking forward to the next book from you.

This is a delicious book and my favourite new cookbook I've bought in the last year at least (I do like cookbooks). Every recipe in the book comes with a lovely story attached that explains what it means to Valentine, why it's worth trying and why you'll enjoy it. I only bought the book last Tuesday and so far I've cooked two things from it, the slow roast lamb recipe that was on last week's BBC2 programme (even before I got it out of the oven it had filled my flat with an amazing aroma and eating it was even better - it was delicious and succulent and the tastiest lamb I've ever had). Although I bought this with my four yeat old in mind,My almost three year old has enjoyed the work books just as much ,and thanks to her older sister is already pointing out letter sounds in her everyday activity's. This prouduct, has I feel given my children a head start on the road to learning!

I have recommended this book to everyone. It's full of good advice for different weaning stages. And I cook the 9months + recipes for my husband...he always says how nice they are and then I tell them that the meal was designed for a 12 month old!! Lovely food for babies, toddlers, and adults.

I picked up the book as I wanted to watch the film. I always feel it is better to read a book then watch the movie to compare. From the start I was drawn into the book. It is very easy to read and the details are just perfect. There are references to politics but thats a good break. Any intellect should be able to comprehend what is being described. The duchess valued politics so naturally the book should make references to it. There are references to political figures but they are refered to through out the book and you feel like you know them as well as the duchess and her family. I have just finished reading the book yesterday and 2 be quite honest i couldnt put it down wherever i go i take the book with me as i have read the Wolf of the Plains i couldnt wait for another book on Genghis Khan its just awesome to read i have seen book 2 but am not sure if its the same lords of the bow part 2 or the same one.need to ask at a bookshop to see cuz i cant wait to read the continuation as i have just pre-ordered BRISINGR.of the Inheritance Triology Eragon.

This is a brilliant and very cheap little book. It doesn't take much reading and has all the area you could require for a simple garden. The A-Z of vegetables is clear; just what is needed to go with the month by month guide. It is also helpful to deal with any problems one might come across. All together a well rounded book! Some of the diagrams would perhaps benefit from some colour though. Carla x

Colourful, funny, vibrant - fantastic book for the under 5's It's follow-up Dinosaurs love underpants is also great, my son loves choosing which pair of pants he's going to wear from the inside cover, a lot of imagination, thought and effort has gone into these books. One to add for sure!
