The words to the story are a little dull but we make up our own story that works with the pictures and matches our own bedtime routine. My daugther loves saying hello to each of Maisy's friends as they are playing in the garden then waving goodbye to them all. We then talk through how Maisy and Panda get ready for bed, get into their pyjamas and have milk and a story. When Maisy kisses Panda goodnight, my daughter kisses Panda too. But most of all, she loves the shining moon and twinkling stars when she can press the light on at the end. Great book, would definitely recommend it for toddlers.

This story of the need for personal vengeance set against the context of geopolitical tension, US hegemony and religious sectarianism is the work of an author of great virtuosity and imagination. However, for all the authorial flair, I fear the book's fragmentary format, its self-conscious "cleverness" and the lack of cohesion which the reviewer above has mentioned will together and individually ensure that this is a book more appreciated by the literary cognoscenti than enjoyed by the average reader. That would be a shame, since it allies vivid characterisation and outrageous humour with passages of profound sensitivity.

Strengths Finder 2.0 not only helped me to learn more about myself, but it gave me a greater understanding (and tolerance) of those around me. It is an interactive book that requires the reader to take a test that helps to reveal one's strengths. It can also be quite fun to partake of the test with family, friends and co-workers. Another interesting book is Personality Plus by Florence Littauer. How To Keep Your Man: And Keep Him For Good Real Life Dramas - Volume One: 1 Darren G. Burton

The book is extremely moving as a novel - the characters, their fate, the evocation of time and place that feels absolutely real. And it also contributes to an understanding of a phenomenon still all too relevant for our times - fanaticism. The context is Russian, romantic young idealists, whose absolute beliefs made them capable of blindness until forced to see, but by then it was too late. In the midst of all the brutality of the Stalin years, much of what humans are capable of is encountered in the drama: the conflict between decency and attempted self-preservation, murderous violence, heroism and also, even in those terrible times, passionate romance. A well researched, intelligent, thorough history of Newgate prison, beautifully presented. As someone who does not read a lot of factual books, I found this an enjoyable read. I got the book after listening to some of the "Book of the Week" episodes on BBC Radio 4. Who knew so much could go on behind a jails four walls, I certainly didn't!

I loved this recent book. I always love reading about the adventrues of Mme Ramstowe. This particular book was amazing as her well loved husband got involved in an adventure with their adopted daughter, which turned out in the end although it was not what we all expected to happen. Alexander your ability to keep writing quality books on the same theme is truly amazing. I love your books. I am waiting to read the new 44 Scotland addtion and I will write a review on that one to.

If you don't have any idea of how pictures can help you see more dimensions of problems and explain your solutions better, this is a good book to get you started. The book's main drawback is that it doesn't discuss how to integrate stories with pictures to make for more compelling communications. You'll have to learn to do that by reading books about storytelling to supplement this one. I consider myself to be not very good at creating pictures for either solving problems or communicating solutions. I was disappointed that the book wasn't aimed more at helping people like me who understand the principles but have trouble applying those concepts.
