I made the mistake of ordering the ordering the 5 CD pack with the Language Pack pt.2. In fact the Pack includes the CDs. I haven't done the course yet but found the equivalent BBC Spanish course excellent.

I had been waiting for over two months for this title to be published and sent to me and when it finally arrived I was rather disappointed by the way topics are arranged in it. There is no index of topic areas, skills practised or grammar aspects in each unit. It offers a variety of activities according to the new vision of language teaching which involves group and mingling activities BUT the layout is very confusing, the pictures and drawings are of poor quality. Not very appealing to students (or teachers).

This book really should be used with the cassettes which accompany it as they really make the language come alive. You can listen to them whilst doing other things like driving the car and you learn in no time. I borrowed this book and cassette course from the library initially and have now bought it as it was so good. You really can speak the language in a matter of a few short weeks, and you begin to understand it almost immediately. Fantastic product, I highly recommend it!
