Its been about a year since i read the gunslinger born. In the time between reading that ad this, the long road home i have read 5 stephen king novels, and a multitude of marvel graphic novels. They were good, but the are all just a pillar for this. In my own opinion, surely not everyones, but if your reading this you might agree, that the dark tower series is one of the best fantasy series of all time. The question is what does the long road home add to that? Without ruining the story, ill say that it adds a considerable amount of knowledge we previously never had about the crimson king, as well as doing what it says on the cover, adding to the gap years between the barony of mejis and jericho hill. A great guide to how to organise a family Burns Night. This was originally given out free with The Sunday Post, and it is a tribute to the power of Scotland's first family that it has become neccessary to reissue the booklet to reach a wider audience. To those who have already purchased Maw Broon's Cookbook or The But and Ben Cookbook, I say, "Go ahead. You won't be disappointed!"

I don't dislike this collection but for anyone looking for an accessible book of poetry for kids, I think there are better buys. The range of topics and style is impressive, however. I don't find that the text scans particuarly well in many of the poems and the interviews with the poets are illuminating but add little to the enjoyment of the poetry. I find that small children, in particular, enjoy more rhythmic prose than is found in this collection.

Really great book that can be used throughout A level study or as a last minute revision guide.

In my quest to read more work by Irish literary greats this year, I recently purchased a newly repackaged Penguin Popular Classic version of Oscar Wilde's 1895 play The Importance of Being Earnest. This edition, with its vibrant green cover and tracing-paper thin paper (all 100 per cent recycled), retails for a meagre £2 -- that's a very cheap price for a masterpiece, in my opinion. I had seen a film version of this play a couple of years ago (the 2002 version starring Rupert Everett, Colin Firth, Frances O'Connor, Reese Witherspoon and Judi Dench) and I remember laughing out loud at a lot of it. There is a lot of good erotica in the short story genre at the moment and this is one of the best. Red hot stories that are believable and imaginative, the characters are beautiful and are doing things we all do, or would like to do. I also enjoyed the 2007 edition, thats well worth a look. And my own personal favourite, the classic '100 Percent Erotica' by Suzie Van Aartman, you'll need to change your underwear after reading that.

These are my first Doreen Virtue purchase. I needed something to help me SLOW the pace of life and take stock of things. I got these cards a week ago and I have found them to be really precise and accurate. The first time I used them I asked for help with a situation and the card I chose was totally relevant and I kept it with me all day and I followed the advice. I think they have helped me and now I use them before I go to work and It is something I look forward to. I like to look at the illustrations which are are beautiful. Plus the cards are a lovely size. All in all I am very happy with my purchase.

Wow this book really is great! It lists all the poems and annotates them with critical information you can use for your aqa a english language essays telling you all the key themes, feelings and attitudes towards the poem and lanuage used. Then if thats not enough it gives you sample essays by top class students on titles that regualarly come up in the exams. At the end of the book it gives you the common themes of all the poems allowing you to compare each poem in the essay. If your teacher doesnt know their stuff or your struggling to remember the class work this will explain each poem and help you get a good grade in your gcse. "I very much doubt i would have passed my gcse without it." I really recommend you buy it!
