Pop up books pop up when you open the pages. Poppy Cats dream does exactly that - excellent. My kids favourite. Poppy Cats Happy Day is a lift the flap and nothing like as good. A real disappointment and badly described. Not recommended. Buy Poppy Cats dream instead. AndyMac

A good easy to read and handle board book (for little fingers). Interest kept with recognisable presents, ie ball, jigsaw, and the cat. Ideal for learning toddlers.

I'm not much of an expert on pop-up literature and I'm afraid I haven't seen one of Sabuda's books before but I put my hands on a copy today and was astonished at the marvel I beheld. This book is a miracle of paper engineering. The content was a little too patriotic of America for my tastes but it was still absolutely incredible to see what this artist had created.

Caleb has loved this book since he was 5 months old, it even calmed him down when nothing else could - suggest you only buy the large version. Everytime we get to the Charlie Chick's Mum Caleb's eyes pop out of his head ! He is now 10 months old & still loves it, although it is very tatty now.

We love this book too. My son has adored it since he was a baby. It's terrific value - lots of pages, good quality flaps, plenty of opportunities for animal noises and actions. Bought it on the basis of the other reviews and have definitely not been disappointed.
