I'm a big fan of Sally Featherstone and this is one of the best in the series. Very clear, precise, easy to read and not at all patronising. I like this a lot.

This product is amazingly useful. It covers AV bocks, bundle branch blocks, hypertrophy, stages of MI development etc etc. It also contains a see through ECG ruler. A very handy aid memoir for an doctor, nurse or paramedic. On the negative I had my cards in my uniform pocket for about 6 months and the text started to smudge and blur. However this was while working in pre-hospial care and I expect any hospital worker would probably be able to treat their cards better than me. In spite of this fact I have bought a replacement set of cards and will do so again when these ones smudge... if they do

An awesome book to read. Depending on the mood you are in, it can b an easy read or you could roam into serious thinking. It's a joy to read this book. Some stories are more interesting but that's just my view. The stories can be applied into various situations too- to entertain, to present a point, to grab attention or something to talk about during lunchtime. Highly recommended book for everyone who enjoys reading and those who wants an easy read on NLP.

This book is okay as a basic guide, however it has a few flaws... 1) Most of the information is easily available on the internet. 2) It sounds as if the person writing it has never heard the opinions of the students at the universities or been to them, it's just facts and figures, so you don't really get a feel for the universities. 3) It doesn't include colleges, such as the university college for the creative arts, it's not a university but it has university courses and validated BA hons degrees. There are a lot of Arts colleges like this that have not been given university status because they only do one subject. I've read at least 10 pig books in the past couple of years, but this gets my vote as the best one for the small-scale pig keeper. Covers everything you need to know (including what to do if you have to raise piglets without the mother's help, something a surprising number of books ignore) without going into too much mind-boggling detail. There are a lot of great pig books out there, but most of them are aimed at pig farms. This is more geared towards the smallholder, pet pig owner or hobbyist. And isn't the pig on the front cover just great?!!!

Although it may be unpalatable to many, this is exactly what it was ( ?is) like to be junior doctor...I know i was one. I'm now a consultant and things haven't changed much (other than for the worse) Read it if you want to get a true perspective as opposed to the nonsense in Holby City, Casualty etc Whilst you're at it take a look at the Cardiac Arrest series from the 90's now on DVD -- probaly the best hospital TV series ever made

This book will never win a prize for literary content, but if you're going to get serious about Portable Appliance Testing it's this season's must have and it will get you through the C&G exam. Somewhat expensive (hence 4*s) - to be expected maybe? - electrical engineers are probably not best known for their writing skills so there must be a rarity premium. Tells you what you need to know and lots of stuff you don't - hardcore information and good for insomnia too. The Amazon combo deal including this title and "PAT - Portable Appliance Testing: In-service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment" by Brian Scaddan is excellent and gives you the only two documents you really need. Well worth the money.

Excellent book on stretching, if you're after well presented diagrams on stretches for the body this is perfect. It doesn't bog you down with a lot of technical information which is exactly what I was looking for.
