these gems have great drawings in loads of detail. outline the important anatomy and give bullet point answers and extra bit of info to help with your understanding. A must buy for anyone needing to really get to grips with their anatomy.

I learned C from this book back in 1988 having only prior experience in BASIC. Today it's still the book I turn to recap. I thoroughly recommend this book for beginners because you'll learn the right skills from the outset, just take your time.

What can I say?.... I got this book because I wanted a quick and easy reference guide that would help me basically survive my NQT Year. I bought quite a few books as I hadn't had any recommended to me from my course. Well, I can tell you this book was by far the best - so good in fact that I took all the other books back. I found that this book was a really easy, enjoyable book to read. I felt completely bombarded by all the information that us NQTs had to take on board but this book really put everything into context, in order of importance and really is to the point with some really great hints and tips, from the layout of your classroom, to how to make good impressions on your first day, to marking and how to deal with ... I fully agree about the quality of this book's content. It is also a quality paperback and therefore quite heavy: don't buy it from the sort of seller who uses flimsy jiffy bags if you like your books in good condition!

After reading the reviews on Amazon about this book, I decided to use a long overdue voucher to buy it. As new 2nd year nursing student, it helps to have some books that you can return to again and again. After only having this book for 2 weeks, it's already proving it's worth. This and the Marsden should be the recommended buys for any student! As one of the previous reviewers stated, the only downside - the size and weight!! At least I'm building muscles whilst learning!!!
