this book is good for the diploma course. i am currently half way through the 2 year course. i have enjoyed using this book in each assiment and its up to date with relevnt legislation and theory

I was worried that this wouldnt work for me. I have smoked for 5 years, and have tried to stop maybe 4 times for differing lengths of time. I would be proud of days that I went a day without a fag; it showed strength of willpower i suppose. I read the 1 star reviews about this book, and they confirmed what I felt must be true all along - this must be too good to be true. What I now believe having read the book, and extinguished the final cigarette, is that these people do not want to give up. I bought this book when I was on a placement from University. It helped me alot as it has lots of useful info. Even the experienced engineers where borrowing it from time to time. MY BEST EVER BUY!!!

Wanted a beginners guide to book keeping that a complete novice could understand. This book does not deliver. More for someone that has an understanding of book keeping than a beginner.

I've got oodles of programming books and I'd put this one up with the best of my collection. It's carefully written to ensure all levels of experience and aptitude are catered for, I'd class myself as somewhere in the intermediates with a decent knowledge of actionscript 2 and I found it enormously useful. All examples and diagrams make perfect sense, and the explanations they use have actually helped me come to terms with other programming paradigms I'd used but never fully understood. Thoroughly recommend this one.

My first impressions of the book had me thinking that I was about to start reading a book that was going to be perhaps a bore. The type of book you read when you have little else to do and know that reading it would get it off the 'to-do' list. I'm glad I was wrong about 'Dibs'. After reading the first few pages I knew that is was going to be one of 'those books'. The type of book that turns out to be an absolute gem when you originally thought it was going to be rubbish: a book that delivers so many things on so many levels and yet does it in a subtle, touching way. These cards contain clear images on one side with arrows and numbers pointing at muscles / nerves / bones ect. The answers are then on the back so you can test yourself. They probably will not cover enough detail for most courses so you'll need you textbook as well. The website you can access with them is good as it is pretty much a digital version of the cards and probably easier as you can reveal answers one at a time. On the cards you sometimes can't help looking at the next answer which can be annoying and defeats the purpose of the cards!
