"Memories, Dreams, Reflections" is the most insightful autobiography of Carl G. Jung's life and his humble experiences. I have read his other works, including "Man and His Symbols" and "Dreams," and never fully understand them until I read this last book of his to which brings it all together in terms of his scientific approach. This 400-page book is a window into his inner world, and it is such a remarkable read.

In this book, Jung revealed much wisdom and insights from his early years up to his remainder of his life. One even can learn about oneself from his life. It is very much worth reading. It is both fascinating and inspiring.

My favorite line of Jung from this book:

"As far as we can discern, the sole ... Read More:

Great book, I use it more than the main one we have been set for my course at uni. Used it at A level too, it's not too complex, not too basic, but rather heavy to carry!

I have bought this diary for the third year and love to give it as a present. It has a positive affirmation for each day, a positive meaning for each week and and a longer meaning to life each month. If your ever needing some positivity this book is it.

I found O'Connor & Lages's style to be useful and straightforward, with a continuous emphasis on practice. Very helpful for someone familiar with NLP and keen to use it in coaching. Regular reminders to avoid psychoanalysing clients and just helping them get on with their agenda proved very useful to me. Very useful book.

Just get it. It'll cost you a penny second hand, and it's well worth it. I mean just look at the fact there are 38 reviews to it's name!

But beware, he's going to talk about God. That's right, a psychotherapist talking about God. He only does so however in the last section and by then you've got enough benefit from it to throw it away with a smile and no resentment, no matter how hardened an atheist you are.

I really enjoyed this. It's intelligent, thoughtful and heartwarming. So much is written about mothers and their children that it's great to have a different perspective. There's lots of really interesting child development research that I knew nothing about, but it's far from being a dry text book read. This is a book that should be essential for anyone working with young children or interested in Psychology, but it's not just for students or practitioners, it's a good read.
I'd recommend it to anyone without children and everyone with them!

This book is a fun read. A bit like having a chat in a pub with an intelligent, literate mate on the topics of 'life the universe and everything' and 'how to sort the world out'.

It's topical, contemporary, will make you laugh, has some lovely quotes and references from across the ages, contains a fair few facts and figures of somewhat suspect origin, (whose statistics aren't biased?), and basically contains a manifesto for a life of wholesome chilling.

Weed out all the unnecessaries, destroy those areas which have been stressing you out...do without, live simply, wholesomely, practically, reclaim your life, be responsible, discover joy in the mundane.....it's all good stuff, and for me personally this is all close to the bone. A ... Read More:
