Some games benefit from a strategy guide, others don't. There's precious little puzzles in GRAW 2, you're always given objectives and these are clearly marked on your map and HUD, so you always know what you're doing and where you're going at any moment in time. The single player game is short in GRAW 2 and with 3 difficulty levels, to be honest, the challenge is never off putting...yes, there's spikes in difficulty but little that this strategy guide will help you with. There's a nice section on weaponry, but only reproduces whats in the EXTRAS section from the game. Where the game comes into its own is in multiplayer with 19 maps and I was hoping the guide would show these in detail. I was left wanting, they are reproduced in the guide ... Read More:

Bought this recently as I am currently writing a horror novel. It's really of limited value though as the vast majority of information in it could be taken from any standard 'how to write' book. I have found 'Danse Macabre' by Stephen King to be much more helpful and insightful with regards to the mechanisms of horror, i.e. how does the ghost story work? What's so scary about Dracula etc. Very disapointed with this although it redeems itself slightly with some info about publishers specific to the genre.

As a practising "Pagan in the Street" and someone who has not had a classical education I have to say I struggled greatly with the very academic language and style of this book. I found the content to be long winded and tedious and many sittings left me confused. I failed to see where the title had any relevance to the content of the book and have been left feeling very disappointed in a book I was very much looking forward to reading. I regret to say that as a book about Paganism it said very very little to me, not a title I would recommend.

This is a must have as are all Raven Grimassi book's, if you are studying Wicca. Also a great reference for teachers. Ravan Grimassi is my all time fave when it comes to book's of wicca. He is so thorough, but makes his works easy to read and understand.

This is a must have as are all Raven Grimassi book's, if you are studying Wicca. Also a great reference for teachers. Ravan Grimassi is my all time fave when it comes to book's of wicca. He is so thorough, but makes his works easy to read and understand.
